BBC Radio Derby Interviews DPA Head Teacher About the Success of DPA at the Start of the New School Year

On Friday 6th September, BBC Radio Derby presenter Nigel Cash interviewed Derby Pride Academy's Head Teacher Mr Neil Jamieson about the success of Derby Pride Academy after its first year.

In the interview, Mr Jamieson speaks about the benefits of specialist alternative provision provided by Derby Pride Academy and how the alternative provision free school benefits through linking with Derby Moor Community Sports College and Derby County Football Club.  Also featured is discussion about how Derby Pride Academy has grown from accommodating 6 students to over 40; with all of last year's Year 11 students successfully going on to further education at college.
