  1. Microorganisms that cause diseases are called pathogens. Research either a viral, bacterial and or fungal disease and describe the symptoms, how it is transmitted and how you treat it. The information can be presented as a poster or mind map.
  2. Not all microganisms cause disease. Write a report on how microorganisms can be useful (hint beer and bread).

You are to create a visual adaptation of the symptoms of the Black Death.  You will need to draw a picture of a person and then label the symptoms of the Black Death.  You are to accompany your drawing with a description of those symptoms.

  1. Research what people believed caused the Black Death and how did they think it could be cured. The information can be presented as a poster, Power Point or in a word document
  2. The Black Death was caused by a bacteria. Draw and label a diagram of a bacteria.
